Wiawaka Center for Women enriches, inspires and celebrates the growth of women through unique and relevant programming at a natural and peaceful setting located on the shores of Lake George, NY. We have five historical buildings for overnight simple  accommodations, we offer healthy meals three times a day throughout the summer months along with workshops, programs and events that inspire and celebrate history and women. We are the oldest continuously operating women's retreat in the country.  We have many places to enjoy the beauty of nature and peacefulness along with two swimming areas and a large dock overlooking Lake George. Our labyrinth, fairy trail and spacious property provides for camaraderie, respite and mediation. Wiawaka is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and relies on the operations of our property and the donations of supporters to maintain its operations and historic buildings. 

Doreen Kelly has been the Executive Director for 5 years and was previously on the Board of Directors for 3 years. She has a background in business development and event planning and a dedicated passion for our mission.
